Job Description

• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must cultivate a vertical farming system.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

• Farm operations include corn farming, layer poultry farming, livestock combination farming, oilseed (except soybean) farming, and poultry and egg production.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty and dirty conditions.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have experience operating a farm truck, loader, tractor, manure spreader, and tillage equipment.

Area of work experience

• The candidate must have work experience in harvesting field crops.

Automated systems experience

• The candidate must have experience with automated systems, including an egg-gathering system.
